The manufacturing of polypropylene is low-burden compared to many other materials. Polypropylene is neutral in the storage environment, releases no harmful substances and can be burnt without any problems in waste incineration plants. It is ideal for heat recycling of energy (heating value 42 MJ/kg -> Wood 19-20 MJ/kg) or material recycling as well.
